My Dad , Brother, Grandpa and me went to look for moose when we where in Idaho. We went to my Grandpa friend’s house and went on his snow cat and went over some logs and then we went to look for moose. What animal did you see? When we were in the car looking for moose we were going through one or two feet of snow, and we saw 4 moose.
Did you know that woodpecker’s can fly 15 mph ? Woodpecker’s eat bug’s, acorns, nut’s, fruit and seeds. Woodpecker’s have a shock absorber so when they peck at wood it does not get them dizzy. The woodpecker has a tongue that wrap’s around it’s skull. A woodpecker’s tongue has little brushes so that it can get bug’s out of the tree when the woodpecker get’s a hole in the tree. Do you like woodpecker’s ? Because I do! 
I did all of these things last Thursday night. First we went to Tillicum Crossing. We saw the max train when we were walking over the Tillicum Crossing and we saw the Christmas boats, the boats have a bunch of Christmas lights on them. Then we went to the tram and when we got on the tram we where going up hill and going about 5mph and when we were going back down the hill we where going about 12mph in my opinion. The tram go’s from the water front up to the OHSU Hospital. After that we went to Peacock Lane and looked at all the home’s decorated with light’s. It was really cool !
I am going skiing at Schweitzer this Christmas because I will be in Idaho where Schweitzer is. Do you like skiing? Because I love it!. I usually go to mt. Hood but this time I am going to Schweitzer. I like doing sharp turn’s and going really really fast. I also like skiing by all the little stream’s. Did you know that with ski’s you have to put pressure on one foot to go the other way?
Kahneeta is a very fun place where you can go camping or stay in a hotel or tee pee’s. Kahneeta has a very big pool that has 2 slides. In 1 day I went down the green one 45 time’s. Kahneeta has miniature golf that is my favorite. You can go hiking to. You can also buy polished rock’s from the gift store. When we went hiking I found a coffee cup in the grass, every time I use it I remember the hike. Last time we went to Kahneeta we saw Auntie Deena there .
The rivers are filled with fish known as salmon, sturgeon, steel head and trout. Oregon’s main rivers are Columbia, Willamette, Tualatin, Snake, Deschutes and John Day Rivers. I have been to all of these rivers, have you? Did you know that the Columbia river is the longest river in Oregon? It is 1,249 miles. It starts in Canada and ends in Astoria, Oregon where it goes into the Pacific Ocean.
Bull elk lose their antlers each March, but they begin to grow them back in May. Elk were once found across much of North America but they were killed off and driven to take refuge in more remote locations. Elk are browsers. Elk eat many things like grass, bushes and bark.
My family and I go to Idaho for Christmas to see my Grandma and Grandpa and cousins.They live on 50 acres in the woods, where they live there is a lot of snow. We have a lot of fun traditions at our Christmas. On Christmas Eve morning we all go out to breakfast, you have to wear blue jeans that’s why my grandma calls it blue jean breakfast ! When it is night on Christmas Eve my cousins and I get to open 1 present each. On Christmas my cousins and I get up at like 6AM or 7AM and look in our stockings. Then when everybody wakes up we go from youngest to oldest in opening presents. And after that, everybody get’s something to eat we go on what we call the Christmas walk. My Grandma hides candy on the trail that my Grandpa made then my cousins and I go and find it. It’s so much fun. And that ‘s how my Grandma and Grandpa are kind to me.
The patriots are my favorite NFL team. The Patriots are very good this year. Their record is 10-1 so far. My favorite 4 players are :

Legarrete Blount use to play for my favorite NCAA team, the Oregon Ducks. They went to the Super Bowl last year. Let’s see if they make it back. Who is your favorite NFL team?
